The Public Institution Entrepreneurship Development Organisation announces a competition for the position of Senior Specialist, Risk Assessment and Analysis Section,

Fund for Entrepreneurship and Economic Growth of Moldova 

 

IP ODA has the mission to implement the state policy on supporting the development of entrepreneurship, including small and medium enterprises, according to the strategies and programmes approved by the Government.

 


IP ODA's areas of activity are:

  1. support for the development of entrepreneurship, including small and medium-sized enterprises;
  2. financial and technical assistance to enterprises; 3) issuing financial and state guarantees.

Within the organisational structure of IP ODA, the Economic Acceleration and Development Fund is created. The mission of the given Fund is to implement state policy in support of the development of the small and medium-sized enterprise sector in the Republic of Moldova by providing access to low-cost financing.

 

Purpose:

To assess and manage the risks on financing provided to beneficiaries of financing products, other activities and operations upon need/request.

 

Core tasks:

  • Collection of information/data, reports submitted by partner financial entities, their aggregation and analysis;
  • Perform data and information analysis activities for risk assessment purposes;
  • Monitoring risk indicators and submitting mitigation proposals;
  • Preparing risk reports;
  • Communicating and cooperating with partner financial entities, within the limits of assigned competencies.

Conditions attached to the post:

  • Holds citizenship of the Republic of Moldova;
  • have knowledge of Romanian and the official languages of interethnic communication spoken in the territory concerned, within the limits established by law;
  • has full legal capacity to exercise his/her profession;
  • has the necessary education required for the position;
  • in the last 5 years has not had his/her individual employment contract terminated for disciplinary reasons;
  • has no previous criminal record for intentional crimes;

Specific job requirements:

Education: - University degree or equivalent in economics, finance and banking, business management.

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 3 years general experience;
  • Minimum 1 year proven experience in finance;
  • Experience related to financial operations, monitoring and valuation, legal aspects;
  • Working experience in the banking and/or micro-finance sector in Moldova is an advantage;
  • Experience in banking and microfinance reporting is an advantage;
  • Experience in risk management in the financial and banking sector is an advantage.


Knowledge:

  1. Knowledge of legislation, including financial-banking and tax;
  2. Operational knowledge of entrepreneurial economic development, including access to finance;
  3. Excellent knowledge of the Romanian language (writing, oral communication). Knowledge of Russian and English would be an advantage;
  4. General knowledge of corporate financial accounting is an advantage;
  5. Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications.

 

Skills: communication; working individually and as part of a team, in a national and international context; flexibility in a multicultural and linguistic environment; compliance with written and verbal instructions.

Other requirements: responsibility, punctuality, fairness, ability to work under stress, willingness and ability to learn new general and technical knowledge.

 

Institution working arrangements:

40 hours/week.

Monday-Friday, 8.30-17.30, lunch break: 12.00-13.00.
