The Public Institution Organization for Entrepreneurship Development announces a competition for the position of Senior Specialist (Fund of Funds)

PI ODA has the mission to implement the state policy regarding the support of entrepreneurship development, including small and medium-sized enterprises, in accordance with the strategies and programs approved by the Government.

Purpose and main duties according to the job description:

Purpose of the position: Ensuring operational, technical, and analytical support for the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of activities related to the financial instrument “Fund of Funds”, in accordance with the legal framework and institutional requirements of ODA.

Main duties:

  • Contributes to the development of the financing product and related technical documentation.
  • Supports the organization of public calls for selecting investment partners.
  • Participates in the eligibility verification and evaluation of candidates.
  • Monitors the implementation of first-loss tranche allocation contracts.
  • Collects and analyzes reports submitted by investment partners.
  • Verifies requests for tranche utilization in case of loss and contributes to drafting justification notes.
  • Manages the internal database on investments and impact indicators.
  • Provides support to investment partners in interpreting contractual and reporting requirements.
  • Participates in preparing documentation for audits, evaluations, and reports for ODA management.

Type of employment: indefinite period.

Application requirements:

  • Higher education in economics, finance, accounting.
  • Experience in the financial field, public funds, or investment instruments – minimum 1 year.
  • Analytical, organizational, reporting, and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of capital investments, risk-sharing mechanisms, and economic indicators.
  • Integrity and responsibility in handling sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of Romanian language;
  • Knowledge of English language at B1 level (B2 is an advantage);
  • good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • During previous employment, has not violated the provisions of art. 7 para. (2) of Law no. 325/2013 on institutional integrity assessment, except when entering the workforce for the first time;
  • Not deprived by a court of law of the right to hold certain positions or carry out certain activities.

Working schedule: 40 hours/week.

Monday–Friday, 8:00–17:00, lunch break: 12:00–13:00.
