Public Institution Organisation for Entrepreneurship Development announces competition for senior specialist position Compliance Assessment Section, individual guarantees

IP ODA’s mission is to implement the State’s policy on supporting the development of entrepreneurship, including small and medium-sized enterprises, in accordance with the strategies and programmes approved by the Government.

Purpose and core tasks as per job description: 

Purpose of the function: Providing support in accessing individual financial guarantees to guarantee loans granted by partner financial institutions (banks and non-bank lending organisations).       

Core tasks as per job description:

  • Examination of guarantee applications according to established criteria:
  • Ensuring the issuance of financial guarantees;
  • Ensuring communication of corrective actions;
  • Participating in the drafting of proposals for amending/supplementing the operational manuals for the implementation of state programmes and other legislative acts in the areas of competence of the subdivision; 
  • The performance of tasks related to the work of the subdivision.

Type of employment: Indefinite period

Conditions of application:

  • Bachelor’s degree in: economy, finance and banks;
  • Experience in banking and/or non-bank credit organisations of at least 3 years;
  • Experience in analysing applications for the award of banking products to legal persons of at least 2 years of age;
  • Experience in drafting internal regulations (operational manuals, instructions, procedures, strategies, guidelines, etc.);
  • Work experience in data collection, drafting reports and/or reporting systems.
  • Speaks Romanian;
  • Proficiency in English (an advantage);
  • While working in previous workplaces, has not infringed Article 7 (2) of Law No 325/2013 on the assessment of institutional integrity, except in cases where the person is in employment for the first time;
  • Is not deprived by the court of the right to occupy certain functions or to exercise a certain activity in those functions and activities.

  • Economic interpretation skills of company, bank/OCN phenomena and processes;
  • Analysis and synthesis capacity, working with databases (Excel);
  • Ability to work as a team;
  • People-to-people networking capacity;
  • Ability to take decisions and assume responsibilities;
  • Ability to resist repetitive tasks and adapt to changing tasks;
  • Ability to plan and organise working time and respect deadlines;
  • Ability to track and achieve purpose;
  • Emotional balance;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasion skills.

Other requirements: fairness, honesty, impartiality, accountability, punctuality, sense of initiative, result orientation and development.

Working arrangements of the institution: 40 hours/week.

Monday-Friday, 8.00-17.00, lunch break: 12.00-13.00.
