What are the new tax and customs incentives for entrepreneurs?
The list of ongoing technical assistance projects falling within the scope of international treaties for the application of exemptions to income tax, excise duties, customs duties, duties for carrying out customs procedures, duties on goods which, in the process of use, cause environmental pollution, and the application of the exemption from VAT with a right of deduction to goods and services intended for them, has been supplemented by a further 40 projects.
In the Official Gazette of 25 September 2020 Government Decision No 716 of 23 September 2020 amending the Judgment No 246/2010.
New projects to benefit from tax and customs relief include:
· Provide support for policy implementation for rural small and medium-sized enterprises
· Waste Partnership for Green Rural Areas
· Support for the Moldovan government to implement the 2030 Agenda
· Supporting integrity and anti-corruption efforts through active civil society monitoring in Moldova
· Moldova’s Criminal Justice System Support Programme
· Promoting the culture of debates in legal education in the Republic of Moldova, etc.
The List also includes projects that relate to the management of the COVID-19 crisis.
According to Government Decision No 246/2010, records of external assistance projects are provided by the Ministry of Finance.
