The answer to this question is provided through the eData project, which has been created with a view to presenting truthful and up-to-date information on legal persons operating within the legal framework of the Republic of Moldova. Priority the project focuses on providing the most up-to-date business data as well as simple online tools for aggregating/bundling and analysing them.

Aggregated data in eData are used only from public sources, which constitute open data and are offered by public authorities, in machine-readable format, at a disaggregated level. However, the data do not contain any personal information, trade secrets or state secrets.

Thus, any natural or legal person may re-use the document made available by a public authority or institution in accordance with the Conditions for accessing and re-using public sector information. All data are updated on a monthly basis from official sources providing access to open data, such as date.gov.md

Who are the beneficiaries of eData?
Accountants – tax clearance, preparation and submission of accounting, tax and management reports, simplify the interaction and verification of economic operators, thus helping to reduce fiscal and financial risks.

Company directors and managers – advanced search for information about your company’s partners, with the possibility of verifying their credibility, will allow important/strategic decisions to be taken more quickly and efficiently, resulting in the sustainable development of the institutions you manage.

Financial departments – as open data is provided on a regular basis, you will have the opportunity to analyse the information provided on the portal in a few moments. In addition, the entire company profile is displayed in one page, including financial reports.

Logistics managers – only work with trusted suppliers! Company information includes information on authorised capital, company lifetime, available licences and also helps to identify potentially problematic companies (e.g. change of legal address or company founders and directors)

Sales managers – it is easier to identify potential customers thanks to a Caem catalogue. By type of activity, get a full list of companies classified by industry in just a few moments.

Security Departments – eData provides the possibility to follow information about company changes online, check its history, which allows the security department to perform operational checks on specific cases and mitigate potential risks.

Analysis and planning departments – a powerful tool for analysis and cross-linkages in identifying more quickly ‘day to day businesses’, affiliated organisations and other contractors that need more attention.
