The Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and the Environment announces that on Tuesday 16 March and 5 April, Intervention and Payments Agency for Agriculture (AIPA) receive applications for external humanitarian aid in the form of diesel from Romaniafor farmers in our country affected by last year’s drought, I am sending MOLDPRES.

The aid is granted for to cover part of the costs incurred by farmers in maintaining autumn sowings and ensuring that spring work is carried out.

When calculating the amount of eligible diesel per beneficiary, several indicators and coefficients are taken as a basis: phytotechnical crops, areas affected, category of extent of affectation, size of areas of agricultural land managed by producers, to which coefficients are applied in favour of smaller producers.

The aid application file must contain the following documents:

✔ the application for the calculation and granting of the aid;

✔ the declaration on honour concerning the completeness of the file and the veracity of the information in the documents submitted;

✔ copy of the registration certificate of the peasant household;

✔ confirmation certificate, issued by the local public administration authority;

✔ copy of the notice establishing the damage caused by drought to plant protection crops for the 2020 harvest;

✔ supplies of the customer card of the petroleum product distribution chain selected for the distribution of the aid (if held).

The file shall be submitted in a moulded, sealed and numbered form, in such a way as not to allow documents to be detached and/or replaced, and signed on each page by the applicant. Copies of documents submitted must bear the following: “corresponds to the original” and the signature of the applicant.

The application for the calculation and granting of aid and copies of the documents required for the granting of aid shall be submitted by the applicant or his legal representative to the territorial subdivision of the AIPA in the area where the applicant carries out his or her activity.
