Ralitsa Zhekova, Executive Director of the Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (RAPIV), noted that the project aims to encourage young women with innovative ideas to successfully launch and develop their own business through tools that will contribute to skills training in social innovation and business. “The project will set up centres for Antreprenor Women and the development of innovative training programmes,” mentioned Ralitsa Zhekova.

A roundtable was held on the second day, with the participation exclusively of the representatives of the partners involved in the project. Each project manager presented its activities to its institution as part of the project, then set the priorities for the next period and a timetable for activities.

Another activity under this project concerned the participation of the Communication Manager in the Communication Training, organised by the Danube Transnational Programme, on 19 July. Split, Croatia. Within it, the representative of the Organisation for the Development of the Sector of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODIMM), has become acquainted with the communication tools and techniques to be used during the implementation of the project.

Project DTP2-048-1.2. Women IN BUSINESS – “Promotion of entrepreneurship among young people in the Danube Region” it is co-financed under the second project call of the Transnational Programme 2014-2020 (Danube Transnational Programme 2014-2020), Priority Axis 1 “Innovative Danube and Social Responsible Region”, Specific Objective 1.2 “Increasing skills for social and business innovation”.

The project has a 36-month implementation period and is implemented by a consortium of 14 partners from 9 Danube countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Slovenia, Hungary, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Moldova and bring together national and regional organisations, public and private organisations and universities.
