Webinar and Workshop: 22 reasons to become a social entrepreneur
Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODSME) from the Republic of Moldova, the Webinar and Workshop on “Webinar + Workshop: 22 reasons to become a social entrepreneur”.
The event was supported by Lucia Gavriliță social entrepreneurs. It created the foundation “Health in live green”it provides information on how to cure, prevent disease and achieve well-being. It is also President of the Alliance of Organisations for Persons with Disabilities of the Republic of Moldova, Executive Director AO ‘Speranta’.
From the experience of Lucia Gavrilița, “Social entrepreneurship can be a passionate and impactful activity, and our unwavering energy is absolutely important to invest it in bringing about positive change and solving certain problems for the community, society and the world at large.”
At the event, Lucia Gavriliță quoted the newspaper The Guardian who writes that “even the crisis has not prevented people from reducing their environmental impact, which shows that market demand for social mission enterprises is stable.’
Social entrepreneurship, after Lucia Gavriliță, has to strike a balance between employees and customers.
Relations beyond economic purpose are another asset of social entrepreneurship. It is social relationships that actually facilitate the activity of social enterprises. When I interact with someone with health problems, I learn a lot. These persons shall be of particular experience.’ explains Lucia Gavriliță.
During the event, the entrepreneur also proposed several exercises to the participants that will help potential social entrepreneurs identify the niche in which to operate, so that it is unique and impactful.
