Three indigenous companies in the Danube competition for the best social business
Three Moldovan companies were selected to participate in the Regional Competition for Best Social Business Ideas launched under the European project Finance4SocialChange.
The 3 companies will compete with other companies in the Danube region for a grant of EUR 8 thousand to implement strategies that will bring about social change – positive in the country.
Companies selected today as part of a focus group carry out activities with a social impact:
— EDUJOC – creating high tech devices for hospitals that facilitate remote communication between the patient and their relatives.
ECORĂZENI – implementation of a training programme for people with disabilities and their integration into the world of work
— DAVITEX NEO – making clothes for pre-term infants.
Finance4SocialChange is co-financed by European Union funds (ERDF, IPA, ENI) and aims at boosting access to innovative financing instruments as well as creating a business environment that helps social entrepreneurs to create more viable and stronger companies in the Danube region.
Finance4SocialChange is implemented by ODIMM in consortium with 14 other countries in the Danube Basin.
