Textile Knowledge Exchange for 20 young people on both sides of the Prut
10 textile students from the Technical University of Moldova are from 1 to 14 March in Romania to familiarise themselves with the study and research methods of their counterparts at Gheorghe Asachi Technical University in Iași. During the same period of time, 10 young people from Iași are in Chisinau, visiting the Technical University of Moldova. Exchange of experience between students and teachers on both sides of the Prut takes place through the Romania-Republic of Moldova Cross Border Programme – Collaborative Entrepreneurial Education.
For 2 weeks, young people will be familiar with new textile finishing methods, modern printing technologies, start-up funding programmes, etc. They will also visit textile companies to address the specificities of starting a textile business.
We recall that between 22 and 27 February 2022, around 60 young students from UTM and UT Gheorghe Asachi participated in Bootcamp training to develop entrepreneurial skills and write business projects.
The project “Collaborative Entrepreneurial Education” is implemented by the Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in partnership with the Technical University of Moldova, the County Employers of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Iași and the Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” with the financial support of the European Union through the Romania-Republic of Moldova Cross-border Programme. The project provides a clear picture of the need to introduce objects in the field of entrepreneur at non-economic faculties into university curricula.
