1 November 2024,Chireen — The Organisation for the Development of Entrepreneurship and the Fundacja Solidarnoscci Miådzynarodowej (Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova) signed the Technical Assistance Agreement to support the implementation of the Loan Agreement signed on 19 December 2023 between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Polish Development Bank (Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego – BGK).

The document provides for loans of lei 5 million to support small and medium-sized enterprises in the Republic of Moldova.

Furthermore, the recently signed Technical Assistance Agreement provides the necessary framework for activities financed by European Union non-repayable funds, which are coordinated by BGK and implemented by Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova.

We would point out that the technical assistance project complements the “Fom Investment BGK” financing product, which aims to boost the growth of the national economy by supporting the HEIs. The “Form BGK Investment” product provides financial resources to finance energy efficiency, energy transition and climate change adaptation projects.

Thus, through the grant component of this product, SMEs will have access to specialised advice.

Beneficiary companies will receive support for the development of entrepreneurial skills and the preparation of credit documentation.

They will have access to services for the development of business plans through vouchers worth EUR 500-1 000, depending on the complexity of the project.

20 entrepreneurs will also participate in study visits to Poland to learn and take over good entrepreneurial practices.
