14 November 2024, Șoldănești — The Entrepreneurship Development Organisation conducted an information session dedicated to entrepreneurs in the Șoldănești district. During the event, participants learned about the latest government support programmes for the development of local affairs. The session was organised at the initiative of Șoldănești Rayon Council, he highlighted the contribution of local authorities in supporting the business environment in the region.

Alexandru Ciobanu, Head of the ODA Information and Consultation Service, presented the support measures available through the programmes managed by the organisation, highlighting both the benefits and how entrepreneurs can access these funds.

‘Entrepreneurs have access to a wide range of opportunities through several active programmes managed by ODA, such as the Youth Start Programme, the SME Greening Programme, the SME Increase of Competitiveness and Internationalisation Programme (FGM Component), the Tourism SME Support Programme and the Small Producers Support Programme. Significant support is also provided through the 373 Government Programme, which has recently reached a high level, with an investment of over RON 3 billion directed towards the national economy’, said Alexandru Ciobanu.

In this context, the ODA representative mentioned that all these initiatives directly contribute to the development of local entrepreneurship and the strengthening of the Moldovan economy, facilitating access to finance for investment projects that enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises.

In the last two years, 16 companies in the Șoldănești district have received non-repayable financial support through ODA, with a total grant value of almost RON 3.9 million.
