DSC 0555 edited editedFor 2 days, the administrators and consultants of the 9 Business Incubators, opened with ODIMM support in the country’s districts, were trained in effective financial management at a seminar on “Economic analysis of entrepreneurial activity”.

The training was organised by experts from the Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODIMM) from 23 to 24 February this year.

Seminar participants were trained in the field of financial analysis of the company, participated in accounting problem-solving simulations, learned to correctly assess the financial situation of the company based on financial reports, had the opportunity to refine their skills to perform the analysis of financial indicators and the efficiency of the operational work

Tudor lupashco, Head of the ODIMM Business Advisory and Assistance Centre, moderator of the seminar, mentioned that the information distributed will allow representatives of the Business Incubators Network of Moldova (RIAM) to provide professional financial advice to residents and potential entrepreneurs, who plan to start a business or develop the existing one. This will make it possible to make the economic activity of economic operators more efficient, increase the return on their activity and exclude errors in the financial flow of the undertaking.

Tudor Lupașcu warned beneficiaries about the importance of efficient financial management in the company’s business and the analysis of performance indices in this respect.

The seminar is part of the training cycle in which ODIMM aims to provide information support to Moldovan entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs. Three more information sessions are planned this year to present business development opportunities and tools.

DSC 0001 edited Business incubators in the Republic of Moldova are non-profit and non-governmental institutions, which give entrepreneurs with ideas and business plans the chance to realise them in a favourable environment. Since 2009, ODIMM has been supporting the opening of the 9 Business Incubators throughout the Republic of Moldova. 289 residents were active in incubators, 103 new businesses were created, opening up 408 jobs. Two new Business Incubators – in Cahul and Calarasi – will open this year.
