SME digitalisation education programme
Around 100 entrepreneurs will be set up for one month to increase their successful online business. Digital education takes place through the training programme ‘Digital upgrade’implemented by The IMMO in partnership with the Startup Academy.
From 9 March to 2 Aprilbusiness representatives who applied to The “Supporting Tool on the digitalisation of the HMM” they will benefit from direct expertise to guide online business migration from mentors with experience in marketing, communication, IT, logistics, etc.
Iulia CostinDirector-General DSOIMMstressed the importance of training in digitalisation, as this is the future of business under the current conditions. “Digitalisation offers important opportunities for SMEs to improve the efficiency of production processes and the capacity to innovate in products and business models, and the use of e-commerce and information technologies significantly increases their competitiveness on the market”.
Maria Nemciucentrepreneurship programme manager, TEKWILLstated that: “the development of the IT sector is very important, but it cannot increase without synergy with companies in other business areas, which use IT products”.
The beneficiaries of the courses were assigned, based on a self-assessment questionnaire, into 3 levels, depending on the degree of digitalisation of the business. The craft will carry out 5 specific modules for the digitalisation of business: online presence; e-trade planning; customer services; digitalisation of processes and transport and logistics in the context of e-commerce.
The Support Instrument on the digitalisation of the HEIC was launched in June 2020 to support the digital transformation and development of small and medium-sized enterprises to unlock the innovative potential and facilitate companies’ access to domestic and external markets. So far, 466 companies have been trained and 180 have been financially supported by Grants and Business vouchers. A further 99 businesses were submitted for financing under the 2nd Project Call. The programme is financed from the state budget, which is set up by EU funds and GIZ Moldova with the financial support of the German Government, being implemented by ODIMM in partnership with the COR Association GoOnline, the Startup Academy programme developed by the TEKWILL project, supported by USAID, Sweden and UK aid.
