On 7 August this year, the meeting of the members of the Network of Business Incubators of Moldova (RIAM) took place, at which the accession process of new members was initiated: Business incubator in Ceadâr-Lunga and Nisporeni.

The administration of the Ruling Fund was also called into question, the reporting system under RIAM was approved, as well as the action plan that will ensure the sustainability of the network.

The managers of Business Incubators were then acquainted with the methods of project development. The training lasted two days, during which managers learned more about the analysis phase of the project cycle, how to identify a problem for them to write and submit a funding project. They were also trained on how to plan, verify and evaluate a project’s activities.

The overall objective of these trainings is to provide information support, which RIAM members are to implement in order to attract investments in our country and to facilitate access to funds to support the business environment.

The training was organised by the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Development Organisation (ODIMM) to train managers in project management and project application procedures.

We recall that RIAM was created on 16 December 2013 and is a cooperation platform established to promote the role of Business Incubators in economic development and their recognition at national and international level.

The mission of the Business Incubators of the Republic of Moldova is to develop new businesses to create economic stimulus in rural areas. Business incubators support novice entrepreneurs in the region, provide training free of charge to their residents on areas of greatest interest for the practical work of entrepreneurs, advice on solving the problems they face, and provide them with the infrastructure they have to develop their business better.
