ODSMEs are strengthening their presence in the regions
The Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODIMM) and the Municipality of Strășeni aim to develop a partnership to support and promote domestic entrepreneurs. The priority areas for interaction between the two institutions were laid down in a Collaboration Agreement signed on Tuesday 17 September 2019 by the Director-General of ODIMM, Iulia Costin and the Mayor of Strășeni, Valentina Casian.
“The signature of this Agreement is a good start for establishing partnerships between business support organisations in Moldova and local public administrations to promote SME development opportunities in municipalities in the country,” said Iulia Costin.
The Mayor of Strășeni mentioned that the most important final beneficiaries of this agreement are entrepreneurs in the region. “The municipality of Strășeni is a friendly and open environment for business and investment. We hope that the partnership with ODIMM will add value to the local economy and stimulate the interest of economic operators in state entrepreneurship programmes,” said Valentina Casian.
The objectives of the agreement include facilitating SMEs’ access to information and finance; developing entrepreneurial skills and culture; development of business support infrastructure; promoting public – private dialogue. The Parties have agreed to organise and participate in various activities promoting the interests of SMEs, including seminars, workshops, conferences both inside and outside the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
We would point out that ODIMM also has other Collaboration Agreements in its portfolio, including the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of the Republic of Moldova, the France-Moldova Chamber of Commerce, the Italo-Moldavia Chamber of Commerce, etc.
