ODIMM launched a national campaign to promote business support opportunities
Today, ODIMM jointly with Business Advisory Centres Network kicked off the national information campaign on business support opportunities offered by the programmes and projects in the portfolio. The aim of the campaign is to present extensive information to the general public, including future entrepreneurs, on the full range of services offered by ODIMM: consulting, coaching, mentoring and business financing. During the period 14 information sessions will be organised on 7-27 April to cover the entire territory of the Republic.
The first briefing was attended by more than 150 representatives from business, local public administration and business incubators in the SUD region (the districts of Cahul, Cantemir, Ștefan Vodă, Basarabeasca, Căușeni and Cimișlia).
Opening the event, ODIMM Director-General Iulia Costin welcomed the participants’ increased interest in entrepreneurship, urging them to use ODIMM services to set up a business. At the same time, Iulia Costin specified that the pandemic situation caused by Covid-19 had had an impact on the proper implementation of the campaign itself, but this challenge had been turned into an opportunity, enhancing the potential for remote communication through the online regime.
‘ODIMM develops and implements programmes and projects aimed at supporting the ideas of all entrepreneurs who wish to develop their own business. Because of the expected outcome of the information campaigns, it is the communication, information and promotion of programmes run by ODIMM, which ultimately, both future entrepreneurs and those who now operate – to participate and apply to ODSME programmes’, noted Director-General of ODIMM, Iulia Costin.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy and Capital, Lilia Palii reiterated that during the pandemic, the state ensured the continuity of business support programmes, coming up with a series of anti-crisis measures to limit the impact of the COVID-19 crisis.
“Today’s event is of key importance, we want this campaign to reach every entrepreneur, future entrepreneur, but also the general public in general, with extensive and useful information on the support measures provided by the state, as well as on the funding programmes and the full range of services offered in this respect by ODIMM” stressed Lilia Palii.
The Secretary General also encouraged entrepreneurs to make use of the opportunities offered by state programmes and the expertise that is provided by the professional team of ODIMM.

Together with ODIMM we want new businesses, green and digital economies, we want to see more women in business, innovative and courageous young people staying at home and developing their business ideas. We have a common goal to improve the living conditions of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova!”scored Lilia Palii.
ODIMM is currently implementing 12 national programmes to support SMEs. Every year, ODIMM carries out information campaigns on the business support opportunities offered by the programmes and projects in the portfolio.
