5 May 2026, Chisinau — The Organisation for Entrepreneurship Development, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Moldova and development partners, announces the launch of the call for grants under the Non-repayable Financial Support Instrument for SME Development – SME GROWTHimplemented in collaboration with Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalisation. The new strand of the Facility is dedicated to young and migrant entrepreneurs and aims at supporting business start-up and development in the Republic of Moldova.

120 applications will be accepted under the call, of which 65 are intended to support young entrepreneurs and 55 are allocated to migrant entrepreneurial initiatives. Eligible beneficiaries will be able to access grants of up to RON 600 000 for essential investments in business development.

The call will be open until the number of requests set and published on the official page of the tool is reached.

An important advantage of this instrument is the reduced own contribution of only 30 % for companies operating outside Chișinău, which aims to stimulate regional economic development, create jobs and unlock entrepreneurial potential at national level.

The funds are allocated from the State budget as well as from European Union funds through the Reform Agenda.
