Cluster BiogasFrom 26.11.2017 to 2.12.2017, the representative of ODIMM, Rome turns, the manager of the Network of Business Incubators of the Republic of Moldova, was in the Czech Republic on a fact-finding visit on the creation and functioning of clusters in the field of bio-mass.
The aim of the visit is to exchange experiences, transfer good practices from Czechia to Moldova, establish contacts and encourage collaboration on bio-mass. At the same time, the experience and knowledge gained during the study visit will be further leveraged by the development of the strategy and activity plan of a similar cluster in the Republic of Moldova.
The biogas cluster in the Czech Republic was established in 2010. The Cluster’s core activity is research and development, as well as business encouragement and increased competitiveness of biogas companies. The aim of the cluster is to mobilise biogas stakeholders as well as other renewable energy sources, provide them with information, legislative and technical support in their activities and promote new business opportunities for the export of biogas products and services.
Other objectives of interest were included in the agenda of the visit, such as: Institute for Landscape and Gardening Research, Bio-Masă boiler production plant, Ministry of the Environment, University of Forestry, University Centre for Energy Efficiency of Buildings and Kněžice Energy Plant.

Representatives of ADR Sud, ADR Centru, ADR Nord, the National Construction College, the Agricultural College, the Bălți State University, ȘPT s.Cuhoarea de Jos, ZEL Bălți, CR Leova, CR Ungheni also participated in the study visit.
