From 9 to 12 December, ODSME collaborators attended the training course on ‘Preparing the project proposal for EU grants’, as a trainer on the European project expert Mr Sotiraq GUGA, from Belgium.

The main objective of the training was to provide information support, which the ODSME would implement to attract investment and facilitate access to EU funds to support the business environment in the Republic of Moldova.

During four training days, participants worked in groups, with each group tasked with identifying and developing project ideas using the logical framework. The topics raised concerned the development of business incubators in Moldova; internationalisation of SMEs; sustainability of start-ups and development of public – private dialogue. The second phase of training will take place in January 2015. This will address the implementation process of European projects.

The training was organised with the financial support of the EU project – Technical Assistance for Sectoral Budget Support – Economic Stimulation in Rural Areas (ESRA).
