The aim of the competition is to promote the ideas of young people who want to set up their own business, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of the country. The National Business Plans Competition is aimed at young people aged 18-35 who want to start or develop their own business. The contest has been held annually since 2004 and has been very successful among entrepreneurial young people.
At the final stage of the competition – FLAG AFFAIRS have been announced and awarded top 25 businesses. The young finalists got financial support for business development and received gifts from the competition partners. The amounts offered to the winners are between RON 60 000.00 and RON 150 000.00.

They shall also be supported by a group of mentors and advisers during a year of post-competition activity.’
This year’s edition saw 1392 young people with business ideas, of whom 298 were invited to an interview. The 100 people selected after the second test had continuous access to online training since April. Participants were able to communicate with trainers and mentors – business people and professionals from different fields.
The business plans submitted were assessed by 2 independent jury teams (oral presentation and assessment of the written plan).
