Economic operators can apply for job creation subsidy until 31 July
In order to apply for the single grant, economic operators (investors) must meet a number of cumulative criteria, including an increase in the number of employees of at least 100, an average monthly salary in the undertaking for persons employed of not less than 75 % of the national average monthly salary, the retention of posts created for at least 3 years, and the absence of any arrears in the payment of taxes and duties to the national public purse.
Submitted applications will be registered in the Register of Job Creation Subsidies and the applicant will be informed of their receipt within two working days. They will then be examined and approved according to the eligibility criteria. Applications submitted after the cut-off date will be examined in the amending budget or in the next budget cycle.
The implementation of the job creation subsidy scheme will help to boost investment and growth, raise employment levels, increase spending on the consolidated budget, stimulate employers to fill vacancies and create new jobs, reduce envelope wages and tax evasion, respectively.
