Multifunctional Industry Platforms, presented at Moldova Business Week-2020
On 19-20 November, the local and international business community will discover the investment potential of the Republic of Moldova at the seventh edition of the digitally run Moldova Business Week (MBW). At the event, business people are encouraged to invest and assert themselves with innovative products in both domestic and foreign markets.
At the event, Director-General ODIMM, Iulia Costin presented the new government initiative – Multifunctional Industrial Platforms.
“The Republic of Moldova is presented as an example for Eastern Partnership countries in many chapters, including support initiatives for entrepreneurship. Creation of the 18 Multifunctional Industrial Platforms in the country’s regions it is a new, ambitious and effective business support initiative launched recently, which aims to develop the HLF sector, deploy modern technologies, but also create new jobs. We aim to be competitive at regional level so that investors find MIPs attractive for lasting investment”.
Also, the current programmes implemented by ODSMEs, but also those to be launched, provide a broad spectrum of support for business development, helping to improve the quality of products and services, identify new markets and business partners.
International guests, government employees and local business representatives attend the event. ‘Moldova Business Week’ is an annual economic forum that aims to promote the country’s image and investment potential. The Forum shall be organised by the Investment Agency.
