Motivational seminars for future young entrepreneurs
Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Development Organisation (ODSME) in partnership with The Business Consulting Institute (BCI) and Civitta (Estonia) launched the second edition of the Rural Entrepreneurship Cup as part of the ‘Promotion of Entrepreneurship in Rural Municipalities’ project.
In the previous phase of the project, three business incubators were selected to host a series of events for rural youth during the duration of the project.
Thus, motivational seminars will take place in Ștefan Vodă’s, Nisporeni’s and Soroca’s business incubators on 4-5 November to encourage young people from those regions to start their own businesses. The seminars will take place in the following sequence:
4 November – Soroca;
5 November – Nisporeni;
6 November – Stefan Vodă.
The events will start at 15.30 on the premises of business incubators and will address the following topics:
When you know it’s time to start a business;
One thousand apologies and demotivations;
How to overcome obstacles and build a business that works for you.
The trainers will be experts from Estonia and the Republic of Moldova.

In the next phase, under the project “Promotion of Entrepreneurship in Rural Municipalities”, a Hackathon will be organised in each host incubator as follows:

Hachathon suppose a two-day marathon for people in rural areas who want to start a business or develop the existing one. The basic objective of the competition is to discover, support and promote young people who are able to run a successful business in their home town in different fields of their choice.
In the Hackathon, participants will have two days of interviews with international and local experts.
