More than 50 B2B Moldova – Germany meetings took place online
Today, the 3 days of B2B meetings between companies in the Republic of Moldova and Germany were concluded, which took place on an online platform, following the event ’SOURCING SEMINAR’.
At the seminar Moldovan companies had the opportunity to learn from the first source information on current trends and requirements needed to initiate and establish cooperation with companies in Germany.
During the opening of the seminar, Iulia Costin, Director General ODIMM mention should be made of the business support provided by local companies in developing their own capacities and accessing foreign markets.
“ODIMM has several support instruments to support Moldovan companies in the process of internationalisation, greening, digitalisation and encouraging participation in local and international exhibitions/papers. Furthermore, work is now ongoing with GIZ Moldova on the design of the BisinessLink online platform that will make it easier to promote Moldovan products and services and find new partners on the local and external market’said Iulia Costin.
Tomas Foerch, Project Manager “Conference of the Government of the Republic of Moldova in economic policies” reiterated the importance of facilitating business cooperation and the development of value chains in Moldova, appreciating cooperation in the organisation and deployment of such events, which can enhance communication and boost business partnerships.
As a result of the event, more than 50 B2B meetings were held between representatives of local companies and German representatives with a view to presenting their own services and products and establishing potential cooperation.
Dit is noted that both the event and the bilateral meetings were organised and assisted by the Organisation for the Development of the Sector of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODIMM) in partnership with the Association for the Management of the German Supply, Procurement and Logistics Chain Management (BME), supported by the Project “Advice to the Government of the Republic of Moldova in economic policies”, implemented by GIZ Moldova with the financial support of the German and Swiss Governments’.
