7 July 2026, Chișinău – The Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, continues to provide consultation, information and training services to entrepreneurs and individuals planning to start a business.
During the first six months of 2026, more than 10,600 entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners benefited from ODA support through the institution's services.
This result includes:
- more than 6,300 individual consultations provided by the ODA Consultation Center;
- more than 3,300 participants informed through 39 information sessions organized nationwide;
- 1,063 individuals trained through programs dedicated to developing entrepreneurial and managerial skills.
The results achieved in the second quarter made a significant contribution to the overall performance recorded in the first half of 2026. Between April and June, ODA provided more than 3,000 individual consultations and organized 25 information sessions, attended by over 2,000 participants, representing an increase of nearly 60% compared to the first quarter.
At the same time, 1,063 individuals participated in training programs, of whom 1,029 graduated from the "START in Business" course, while 34 business managers benefited from the pilot financial management program.
To facilitate entrepreneurs' access to relevant information, most information sessions were organized in the regions, covering the districts of Ungheni, Cantemir, Cahul, Bălți, Ocnița, Comrat, Orhei, Anenii Noi, Soroca, and Călărași.
Individual consultations were requested predominantly by telephone, with more than 5,000 telephone consultations provided since the beginning of the year. At the same time, over 1,000 consultations were delivered at ODA headquarters, reflecting the continued interest in the support services available to entrepreneurs.
"Building a competitive entrepreneurial environment starts with access to information, quality advisory services, and relevant training. We are seeing an increasing number of entrepreneurs and future entrepreneurs taking advantage of these opportunities to make better-informed decisions and develop their businesses sustainably. ODA will continue to expand access to support services across all regions of the country so that everyone wishing to start or grow a business can benefit from the assistance they need," said Vadim Codreanu, Director of ODA.
ODA also piloted the program "Financial Management for Directors and Entrepreneurs: How to Increase Business Profitability Through Sound Financial Decisions," through which 34 business managers strengthened their competencies in financial planning, access to financing instruments, and improving business profitability.
The program was implemented with the support of the project "Fostering Bankability – Financial and Business Management Skills for SMEs in Moldova."
