3 July 2025, Chisinau — Entrepreneurs who have a business with export potential and are ready to catch up towards partnerships with large companies or international value chains, now can apply to the Local Suppliers Development Programme managed by the Organisation for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Support World Bank Blueprint for the Competitiveness Improvement Unit.

The programme provides for technical support and international advice and is addressed to companies operating in areas with a priority potential for integration into international value chains, such as agri-food, metal processing, parts and parts of motor vehicles, industrial or electronic equipment. Eligible undertakings must have an annual turnover of at least lei 5 million, have at least five employees and a sustainable activity demonstrated by financial reports over the last two years.

Each selected company will benefit from a full assessment of its activity. International experts will conduct a 360-grade audit including analysis of business processes, financial situation and market location. Based on this assessment, tailor-made business development plans focusing on building production capacity, improving products or services, complying with international quality standards and expanding export capacity will be developed.

Participants will also have access to group training workshops, focusing on process optimisation, energy efficiency, certification, modern technologies, as well as direct connection opportunities with business buyers and networks abroad.

At the same time, the programme aims to contribute to the development of the capacities of local experts, through the transfer of know-how, so that such interventions can be replicated in the long term.

Applications shall be processed as they are received. Registration shall be made online by filling in the form on the official page of the institution.

Applications will be analysed according to a selection grid, which includes both export potential and compliance with the technical and financial requirements of the programme.

With this initiative, ODA calls on entrepreneurs to turn their business potential into real performance, to access international expertise and to make a decisive step towards integration into the global economy.
The programme is implemented with the support of the World Bank Group and the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
