Modernisation of equipment and energy efficiency becoming a priority for more and more businesses
Today, 10 January, the managers of 10 companies signed contracts with ODA to receive grants of up to RON 2 million through the repowering and energy efficiency programme.
Thus, 5 companies will access support of up to RON 1.5 million for energy efficiency, which constitutes 50 % of the investment cost, the money being used to purchase photovoltaic panels to produce electricity.
A further 5 SMEs will receive a grant of 50 % of the investment for the technology and repowering of businesses, but no more than RON 2 million for the automation of the production process; robotisation of production and repurposing with high-performance equipment.
The entrepreneur Vitalie Munteanu in Chisinau opted to describe the investment project submitted to ODA for the implementation of alternative energy sources in his business.
“Our company specialises in drying and processing wood. A lot of electricity is consumed in the drying process. The installation of photovoltaic panels and the production of green energy will significantly reduce the price of our products. We will make maintenance spending more efficient and reduce the negative impact on the environment ", says businessman.
