The National Association of Young Managers of Moldova (Antim), with the support of the ARGIDIUS Foundation and local partners, is organising the 25 February – 18 June 2013 ninth edition of the National Youth Plans Business Competition (CBP 2013).

The aim of this competition is to support and promote the ideas of young people who want to set up their own business, thus contributing to the social-economic development of our country. The National Business Plans Competition is aimed at young people aged 18-35 who want to start or develop their own business. CBP2013 participants will have the opportunity to compete for start-up grants, gain knowledge in developing a successful business plan, be supported and guided by professional mentors, and the finalists will have the chance to present their idea and entrepreneurial capacities to the investors present at the Business Ideas Gala.

In the 2012 edition, 1366 people were applied to the initial stage, from which 320 people were selected for interview, and 55 people participated in the trainings. This large number of young people interested in applying is due to the fact that young people are looking for resources to start and develop their own business.

The competition takes place in 5 stages:

I Stage – Launching the competition and registering participants through the online registration of business concepts – 25 February 2013 – 24 March 2013,

II Stage – Selection of 50 participants through concept assessment and face-to-face interview – 28 March – 10 April 2013

III Stage – Training courses and mentoring advice for young people in Stage 2 from 15 April to 15 May 2013,

IV Stage – Selection of finalists on the basis of the evaluation of the business plans prepared and the oral presentations to the professional jury – 1-12 June 2013,

V Stage – Award of 8 finalists, who will receive start-up or development grants at the Business Ideas Gala — 18 June 2013.

Those who will be funded, as well as those who are trained, will receive post-competition advisory and information support for 12 months.

From the first phase, 50 participants will be selected for the training phase, and from those who will present the business plan, 8 candidates will be selected, who will receive grants for business development.

The amount of the grant will be between 100 and 50 thousand lei.

Registration with CBP2013 takes place via the website www.cbp.antim.org. Candidates who wish to take part in the contest must create a personal account through which they will present their business idea. Participants will also find all information on the Regulation, prizes, evaluation criteria on the website.
