DSC 0138a editedOrganisation for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (ODIMM) in partnership with State Agency for Intellectual Property (AGEPI) organised the training seminar with the generic “Intellectual Property Information Days for SMEs”.
Residents of business incubators, consultants, managers, students, as well as entrepreneurs who are at the early stage of business development participated in the training. The purpose of the seminar was to start entrepreneurs with little experience of activity on the subject matter.
The event is carried out in the framework of the International Project ‘Value Intellectual Property for SMEs’, which is carried out in the consortium with 15 countries. At the start of the training seminar Liudmila Stihi, Head of Directorate Instruction, Analysis and Innovation at the ODIMM, specified that this is the first activity in the series of information days after which workshops will follow, support meetings for entrepreneurs wishing to register their intellectual property objects.
Andrei Moisei, coordinating specialist, Training, Promotion and External Relations Directorate of AGEPI specified that the development of a brand becomes one of the imperatives of the market. “Having a good brand for entrepreneurs can sell their products more easily at a better price and the company becomes more credible to the consumer. Thanks to a successfully developed brand entrepreneurs, you can find their business partners more easily in the country and abroad," highlighted Andrei Moisei.DSC 0136a edited
Finally, the representative of AGEPI reiterated that intellectual property objects allow entrepreneurs to manage their business in a new and innovative way, offer them the opportunity to separate both internal and external markets.
4Seminar participants were trained how to create a valuable brand and its impact, which should contain the message communicated by a brand. At the same time, design topics, industrial models, inventions that can be registered, copyright objects have been refined.
The international project ‘Value Intellectual Property for SMEs’ is carried out in consortium with 15 countries. The implementation of the project in the Republic of Moldova is carried out by AGEPI in partnership with the IMMO. The aim of the project is to promote and support SMEs in complying with the principle of subsidiarity, understanding the values of intellectual property rights and business use of intellectual property law at European level.
