Information session “Opportunities for business development and internationalisation” in Calarasi
Entrepreneurs from the Calarasi district attended an information session on Business Support and Development Programmes and internationalisation tools through the Enterprise Europe Network. The event was organised by the Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODIMM), which is the National Contact Point of the Enterprise Europe Network in the Republic of Moldova. Some 30 entrepreneurs from the Călărași district, including businesses from the Business Incubator, participated in the discussions.Daniela Dascaliuc, Head of Directorate, SME Finance Directorate informed the public about SME finance, financing methods and sources, contract clauses, etc. Business people showed increased interest in both the PARE “1 + 1”, PNAET programmes and the programmes aimed at developing women’s entrepreneurial skills (Women in Business Pilot and Business Academy for Women).
Oxana Paladiciuc as senior expert of the Enterprise Europe Network mentioned that this information session is an unprecedented opportunity to promote the competitiveness of Moldovan enterprises, as the network is intended for international industrial cooperation, education to develop entrepreneurship and internationalisation of enterprises through the services of the network. ODIMM, together with its consortium partners, assists Moldovan SMEs in accessing EEN funds for the purpose of identifying interested business partners.
The discussions shared the experiences of entrepreneurs who benefited from the entrepreneurial support programmes of the SME.
At the end of the meeting, the participants came up with the proposal to organise several meetings of this kind in the locality.
The Enterprise Europe Network is the largest support network for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises worldwide, with more than 3000 experts and almost 600 member organisations from more than 60 states. The project is co-financed by the COSME programme 2014-2020 and is a key instrument of the European Union’s strategy for boosting growth and creating jobs. The Enterprise Europe Network aims to provide integrated services to support internationalisation, innovation and the promotion of business-to-business relations within the business community.
