Government provides grants to support digital innovations
The Ministry of Economy, through the ODIMM, will provide grants to small and medium-sized enterprises active in digital innovations. The programme was approved today at the Government meeting.
The objective of the programme is to provide grants in the form of HLF grants on the digital innovation, green technology and sustainable production components in the following areas: information and communication technology, digital media, manufacturing, agriculture, education, health, financial services, creative industries, e-Commerce, recycling.
Technology start-ups will receive non-repayable grant funding up to 80 % of the costs related to the development and promotion of products and/or services, but no more than RON 500.000.
The programme was developed in the framework of the Partnership Agreement with the project “Technologies of the future”financially supported by the United States International Development Agency and the Government of Sweden, and will be financed from budget allocations as well as from external sources of development partners.
