FTP: entrepreneurship induction training in textile leather
From 14 to 23 June 2021, the Faculty of Textiles and Polygraphy of the Technical University of Moldova hosted an unprecedented entrepreneurial initiation training in textile leather, which is the first phase of the Romania-Republic of Moldova cross-border project “Collaborative Entrepreneurial Educațion”.
More than 60 FTP students participated in the training, the ‘Textile Apparel Technology and Design’, ‘Industrial Design’, ‘Polygraphic Design and Technologies’, ‘Textile Engineering and Management’ study programmes. To ensure the efficiency of the activities carried out in an interactive way, students were divided into 3 groups of 20 people each, working for two days in a hybrid format: the first online day – on MS Teams and the second offline day – at the faculty.
The role of trainer was played by Ms Olga COLESNICOVA, founder of OKTRAININGS SRL, an expert in smart sales technologies, who implements the best practices of European companies included in TOP-10. He is also an entrepreneur, a mentor, a specialist with a marketing traineeship of more than 25 years, a business trainer, and the author of more than 30 interactive programmes to train and train practical business skills.
Over two days, students were familiar with the process of creating innovative business ideas, the advantages and disadvantages of different types of business and applied the LEAN CANVAS methodology to understand the key elements of a Business Plan and identify arguments in favour of developing the proposed business idea. The biggest debates were on the Single Value and Competitive Advantage segments, but also on Consumer Segmentation and Problem Understanding. As a result of the training, 18 teams of students submitted original ideas for starting a business, which were presented in Lean Canvas, allowing detailed analysis of the idea of doing a business at the planning stage.
Students also have the opportunity to participate in the next phase, planned under the Collaborative Entrepreneurial Educationon project, the Start-up Generation Programme, to continue the process of developing the proposed business ideas and to develop a Business Plan with real chances of implementation.
The Collaborative Entrepreneurial Education project is funded by the European Union, the CROSS BORDER COOPERATION ROMANIA – REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA 2014-2020 programme – http://ec.europa.eu/europaid/ index_en.htm
