At a ceremony held at the Summit Events & Conference Center in Chisinau, the Seniors Expert Service (SES) celebrated the 1000th mission of volunteer experts to the Republic of Moldova. This summer, the jubiliary mission brought the German know-how to Artbutique, located in the Moldovan capital.

The ceremony was attended by eminent personalities: Angela Ganninger, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Moldova, addressed the welcome word and CCI President of Honour Gheorghe Cucu congratulated Artbutique’s manager. During the 1000 SES mission, the children’s clothing manufacturer invited the German expert SES, Ms Eva Hillers, to improve their production processes. The mission has been a remarkable success.

The ceremony was also organised with the aim of honouring SES representatives in the Republic of Moldova. As a sign of gratitude, the Ambassador gave them their honours.

SES has been active in the Republic of Moldova since 1993. Its offer – mediation of voluntary experts in Germany – primarily benefits small and medium-sized enterprises, vocational training institutions, but also local public administrations. Medical experts, wood and metal processing, agriculture, the food industry and textiles are in high demand.

The SME Sector Development Organisation has been a partner and representative of the SES in the Republic of Moldova for 11 years. During this period, he promoted the exchange of experiences and sustainable business growth in the Republic of Moldova.
