The 13th edition of the National Exhibition “Made in Moldova” was inaugurated.
From 29 January to 2 February 2014, the 13th edition of the National Exhibition takes place in Chisinau. “Manufactured in Moldova”sponsored by the Government of the Republic of Moldova and organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The year’s largest exhibition event is attended by more than 270 economic operators from all branches of the national economy and from different regions of the country, including the left-hand side of the Nistrum.
The 13th edition of the “Made in Moldova” Exhibition foresees a diverse business programme, including round tables, seminars, the “Republic of Moldova – Romania” Business Forum, the award ceremony of the winners of the “Brand of the Year” Competition and others.
Present at the opening of the exhibition, Prime Minister Iurie Leancă wished the participants every success. “Travelling abroad, I see more and more quality products bearing the label“Made in Moldova”, which means that we are on the right track, the export potential has increased.
Competitiveness is not something guaranteed or free of charge, but an element that is gradually appropriated and strengthened. The government will take steps to improve the conditions for domestic producers to invest cheap long-term money in increased competitiveness.
The Association Agreement with the EU is due to be signed this year, which is why we need to be ready for Moldovan goods to access a market of more than 500 mln consumers, who have strong purchasing power. This does not mean that access to traditional markets such as Russia or Ukraine will be hindered, but on the contrary it will pave the way to new markets such as, for example, China or India ", said the Prime Minister.
One of the distinctive features of the event is active participation, with collective stands, in 21 districts of the country.
This year, at “Made in Moldova”, it presents its achievements and the economic operators supported by the programme for attracting remittances to the economy “PARE 1 + 1” and the National Programme for the Economic Ability of Young People (PNAET). State programmes to support small and medium-sized enterprises will be promoted and publicised here.

The 13th edition of the National Exhibition “Made in Moldova” is also reflected in the diverse business programme developed by the KIC together with its partners:Ministry of Economy, State Intellectual Property Agency, National Employment Agency, National Social Insurance House, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Sector Development Organisation, etc.
The exhibition will also be held Annual Conference of the Discharge Programme “PARE 1 + 1”seminars will be organised on the prospects for developing external trade in the context of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, innovation and technology transfer policies, energy efficiency, implementation of European standards, promotion of Moldovan agri-food products on the European Union market, the CNAS reporting process.
