National Women’s Platform of the Republic of Moldova in partnership with UN Women and the UN Global Compact, launches the annual ‘Principles of Empowerment of Women’ competition

The evaluation will be carried out according to the following principles:

  • Leadership promotes gender equality;
  • Equal opportunities;
  • Health, safety and non-violence;
  • Education and training;
  • Leadership and community participation;
  • Transparency, evaluation and reporting.

The competition will be evaluated by a panel of experts on the basis of application forms to be completed by the participants. The set of documents may be submitted by applicants via the postal services in person at the headquarters of the Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODIMM) (str. Sergei Lazo 48, Office 101, Chisinau, R. Moldova), in a sealed envelope, until 30 November 2016, with the mention “Principles of Empowerment of Women”.

The final award of the winners will take place in the framework of the National Women’s Forum Moldova 2nd edition “Women changing the world”, to be held on 16 December.

Prizes will be awarded by the official partners of the Competition.
