On 10 December this year, ODIMM and the Cimișlia District Council organised the Stakeholders’ Information Session on "The role of the business incubator in the economy of the Cimișlia district.‘.

Representatives of local public administration, economic operators, stakeholders and media representatives were present at the event.

At this stage, it is important to be aware of the opportunities for start-ups and scale-ups during their 3 years in the Business Incubator. Beyond the logistical support needed to start up the business, the low price at the production sites and offices, the Business Incubator provides a favourable environment for business development by providing business information and advice, transferring best practices and supporting the development of partnerships.

The Cimișlia Business Incubator will start its operations in March 2015, following the model of business incubators already successfully operating in the Soroca, Ștefan Vodă, Leova, Rezina, Sângerei, Dubăsari and Ceadâr-Lunga and Nisporeni districts.

The Cimișlia Business Incubator is set up by ODIMM in collaboration with local public authorities on the basis of the Policy Matrix for the Sectoral Support Programme ‘Economic Boosting in Rural Areas’, financed by the EU, in line with the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Moldova to create business support infrastructure suited to the needs of the business environment, particularly in rural areas.
