EuroCreditBank becoming the ODSME partner under the Credit Guarantee Fund
B.C. “EuroCreditBank” S.A. became the 8th commercial bank – partner of the Credit Guarantee Fund (FGC), managed by the Organisation for the Development of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Sector. ODIMM and EuroCreditBank signed a collaboration agreement to this effect. The contract provides for the granting of financial guarantees by ODSMEs to small and medium-sized enterprises, which want to access credit and lack sufficient pledge. The provision of guarantees shall be implemented in accordance with guarantee schemes with the aim of increasing SMEs’ access to credit.
To date, 7 commercial banks in the Republic of Moldova have signed cooperation contracts with ODIMM for the purpose of guaranteeing loans – “FinComBank” S.A., “Moldova-Agroindbank” S.A., “Victoriabank” S.A., “Banca Comercială Română Chișinău” S.A., “ProCredit Bank” S.A., “Moldindconbank” S.A., “Comercițbank” S.A.
The FGC is the only credit guarantee fund in the Republic of Moldova and has the mission to ensure access to finance for domestic companies by issuing financial guarantees. The size of the Credit Guarantee Fund currently amounts to RON 97 million.
