Director of the IMMO discussed with Cușeni and Stefan Vodă entrepreneurs
Interim Director ODIMM, Dumitru Pinianwork visits to the territory on informing entrepreneurs and future entrepreneurs about the new government entrepreneurial support programmes in the SME DSO portfolio continue.
Thursday, raios visited Căușeni and Ștefan Vodă. During the meetings with economic agents in the region, the opportunities for business development offered by the government via several financial instruments were presented, including non-repayable financing and government financial guarantees for bank loans.
Interim Director ODIMM, Dumitru Pinian stressed that for 2022 the institution had a financial envelope of about lei half billion, which would be geared towards supporting the HEIs.
“The government, together with the DSOs, comes with flexibility in existing programmes and other programmes will be launched by the end of the year to cover the needs and expectations of the business environment.
Specifically, through the Youth Start Programme: a sustainable business at home, the IMMO will provide grants of up to RON 200 thousand for young people, which aim to start business. State funding will constitute up to 70 % of the value of the investment project and the young person will only provide a contribution of 30 %.
Another mechanism for young people is the Grant Loan Programme. It will combine funding provided in the form of a grant from ODIMM under the Youth Start Programme: a sustainable business at home and advantageous lending resources provided through commercial banks and the Office for the Management of External Assistance Projects (OGPAE).”
The acting ODIMM Director also encouraged young people and entrepreneurs to apply to ODIMM programmes, ensuring all support from the institution.
Participants showed interest both in opportunities to start up in the world of business and access to non-repayable funding.
