Young people and young people in rural areas are encouraged to set up their own agri-food business. This was the key message of the national conference with the generic “Development opportunities for young people and women in Moldova’s agriculture” organised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment (MADRM) and the Intervention and Payments Agency for Agriculture (IPAA), with the support of the European Union, under the European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development – ENPARD.

“In order to be competitive entrepreneurs shall adapt to market demands and rigours. In the context, Petru Gurgurov mentioned the benefits of each programme managed by the ODIMM, calling on entrepreneurs present in the room, being more active and confident using existing support instruments.
