Complaint Business Incubator 5 years of activity
Representative of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, Gintautas Baranauskas said that the blood business Incubator was a successful history in supporting the sector of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the Republic of Moldova.
“The Business Incubator was created in 2013 with the financial support of the European Union, based on the Policy Matrix for the Sectoral Support Programme, Economic Simulation in Rural Areas. I am glad to see that this institution boosted the development of the local economy, residents of the business incubator increased their turnover almost 10 times. from lei 2 million in the first year of activity until to 18 millionI, the current figure" said Gintautas Baranauskas.
According to the Business Incubator’s manager, Ludmila Prociuc, during the 5 years of activity 67 small and medium-sized enterprises in the region, continued support was provided to business development. “In the first 5 years of activity have been created 270 jobsand cumulative turnover reached approximately lei 32 million”, specified Ludmila Prociuc.
Currently the Complaint Business Incubator hosts 45 residentsof which 24 business is start-up. At the same time, 24 companies are active in production and 21 provide services. 12 resident companies launched or expanded the business with support Program for “PARE 1+ 1” remittances and the programme – piloting “Board in Business” programmemanaged by DSOsIMM.The Complaint Business Incubator (IASG) was officially opened on 8 August, 2013. It was created by the IMMO in line with the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Moldova to set up business support infrastructure suited to the needs of the business environment, and in rural areas, a project carried out with the financial support of the European Union, based on the Policy Matrix for the Sectoral Support Programme, Economic Simulation in Rural Areas’.
