Entrepreneurs in the Republic of Moldova are instructed to more easily overcome business crisis situations. The organisation for the development of the sector of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODIMM) organised a training workshop on “The Management of Business Crisiss”. The aim of the event was to facilitate dialogue and the exchange of experiences on the challenges that economic operators are exposed to in the management of entrepreneurial activities.

The workshop started with a business reconstruction session focused on presenting the company and the difficulties for entrepreneurs. The exercises applied helped to strengthen strategic thinking and crisis management skills. The second part of the event focused on the experience of local entrepreneurs (B2B Mentoring Workshop) who shared the lessons learned from crisis situations.

The Director General ODIMM, Iulia Costin, has given a message of encouragement to the participants in the event and urges them to interpret the failure only as an experience, which will make him stronger in the face of new challenges.

“ODIMM is part of an international consortium that aims to develop concrete policies and tools to support entrepreneurs who have it needs a new chance, those who are in the second or third attempt, but also those who have gone through critical situations, in order to prevent and resolve difficulties so that they do not affect the company in the long term. DSOSMEs together with partners support the creation of a favourable environment for entrepreneurs in stalemate’.

Through the DanubeChance2.0 International project, ODIMM with partners in 11 Danube countries aim to create a community of experts ready to work together to shape the regulatory framework that will give entrepreneurs of the second chance to business and generate acceleration services to facilitate business recovery and access to finance.

This event was organised under the Danube Chance 2.0 project “Finding failure to facilitate entrepreneurs’ access to second chance in the Danube Region”, co-financed by European Union funds (ERDF, IPA, ENI) through the Danube Transnational Programme 2014-2020.
