DSC 1587Today, Organisation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ODSME)in the context of the implementation of the State’s policy on facilitating SMEs’ access to financial resources, it held a joint meeting with the partner banks, which took stock of the joint results achieved in the credit guarantee process for small and medium-sized enterprises in 2017.
It was pointed out that, as a result of the improvement in guarantee processes, in 2017 there was an increase in the portfolio of financial guarantees for SMEs of 76.12 %, which made it possible to attract financial resources of RON 231 million to the economy.DSC 1600
At the same time, the policy of the ODSME Credit Guarantee Fund for 2018, which is geared towards simplifying the process of obtaining financial guarantees, making better use of information technologies in the guarantee process, and supporting priority branches of the economy, was questioned.
DSC 1593The Parties reiterated that, for both ODSMEs and Partner Banks, the development of guarantee processes remains a priority through the continued facilitation of SMEs’ access to financial resources.
Partners agreed that Moldovan SMEs still perceive access to finance as the main obstacle to the development of the business sector. DSC 1563
