49 businesses created by Moldovan migrant workers or their relatives will receive non-repayable grant under PARE 1+ 1
Today, 24 April saw the first meeting of the Supervisory Committee of the “Pe 1+ 1” Programme in 2015, at which 49 investment projects submitted by migrant workers and their relatives were accepted for financing.
Investment projects focus on cumulative investment of approximately lei 32 million, while the amount of grants requested under the Programme accounts for over lei 9 million.
Analysis of applications for funding shows that Moldovan migrant workers invest the accumulated savings mostly in Agriculture – 68% (in the field of zoohny, cultivation of vegetables in protected/series spaces, refrigerated chambers); Provision of services — 16% (repaira and maintenancea motor vehicles; terrest services, maintenance and cleaning of buildings) Production — 8% (patiseers, manufacture of wood ladts, production of wood coal) and an agroturistic seed.
It is important to note that 64 % of the landings accepted by the Supervisory Committee are newly created business with a period of activity less than 12 months and 58 % of business managers are young people up to 35 years.
