44 new entrepreneurs will be supported by the state and the EU for business start-up or development
44 new companies will receive non-repayable funding from the State and the European Union to invest in the development, modernisation, digitalisation or greening of businesses. Of the total number of new beneficiaries, 17 are active in rural areas and 27 operate in urban areas. Of these, 15 businesses are managed by young people and 15 women.
Entrepreneurs will access grants from lei 200 thousand up to lei 2 million through the State Programmes – Start for Young, the PARE 1+ 2 Savings Programme, Digital Transformation, SME Greening and Technology and Energy Efficiency. The total amount of non-repayable financing amounts to approximately lei 19 million.
The investments to be made will be directed towards the closing of equipment and machinery, the recovery facilities for alternative energy sources, the replacement of current equipment with better performing others, the installation of the air filtering system, the water recycling system, etc.
Director ODA, Dumitru Pinian informed entrepreneurs with the latest government initiatives to support access to finance, urging them to also apply other entrepreneurial support instruments to develop sustainable business.
Company managers were familiar with the contractual provisions and how ODA-Beneficiary interacted by representatives of the institution. Subsequently, economic agents will sign the collaboration contracts for accessing non-repayable financial support through the programmes to which they submitted their investment projects.
ODA representatives informed entrepreneurs with the latest government and European initiatives to support access to finance, urging them to apply other business support instruments to become sustainable in the market.
Among the entrepreneurs who participated in the orientation and information session on contractual relations ODA-beneficiaries are Andrei Spinu in Măgdăcești, Criuleni, who started a mobile production business one year ago. “We are at the outset and any support is welcome. Of the grant of RON 200 thousand, which we will access through the Youth Start programme, we will purchase machinery necessary for business development, i.e. a train machine and a car of cut wood parts. In the future, we aim to open a shop of presentation”Supports the young entrepreneur.
Another economic agent, which will benefit from non-repayable financing via the Technology and Energy Efficiency Programme, is Eugen Culim in Chișinău, the manager of a business specialising in manufacture of fabricated metal products and parts of fabricated metal units“Our choice has been active in the 4-year market and we have 25 employees. Of the grant of approximately lei 1.3 million, we will modernise part of the machinery needed to manufacture industrial construction carcasses and various anchorers’ parts and blocs’.
The Antreprenosis of the Aliona Curchi in Telenești manages a family business, namely a dental office, involving a large share of family members. Thanks to their mothers, working abroad, was eligible to access a grant through the PARE 1+ 2 travel programme. “Of the grant of about RON 250 thousand, we will equip the Cabinet with new and performing appliances. As a result of the purchase of equipment, we will be able to extend the range of sevicies”said Aliona Curchi.
