12 beneficiaries of the “PARE 1 + 1” programme concluded grant contracts
On 3 June at the ODIMM headquarters 12 beneficiaries of the “PARE 1 + 1” programme have signed grant contractstargeting total investment in the economy of ca. RON 9 millionincluding RON 2.4 million is the grant amount awarded under the Programme.
It is important to highlight that migrant workers are interested in investing in various branches of national economies. The fields of activity include agriculture (greenhouses, cherry orchards, plums, apricots), production of sunflower oil, production of concrete elements, bakery, provision of services (transport, car maintenance and repair).
So far, since the beginning of 2014, 69 non-repayable contracts have been signed with migrants or their relatives. Cumulatively, during the course of the Programme, the development of 382 enterprises was supported and more than 1000 people, Moldovan migrant workers and their relatives were trained.
