Start Digital 360°: EDIH of Moldova launches first call for digitalisation of SMEs and public institutions
Moldovan SMEs and public institutions can apply to the first EDIH of Moldova call to access the ‘Start Digital 360°’ service package, an integrated support pathway for digital transformation, with a total value of EUR 8.357, co-financed 50 % by the European Union.
ODA encourages interested small and medium-sized enterprises to assess their level of digitalisation and identify concrete solutions for business development to seize this opportunity offered by the EDIH of Moldova partners.
Under the first call, only 40 seats are available at national level – 30 for SMEs and 10 for public institutions. Registration in the One-Stop Shop is free of charge and filling in the form does not oblige the organisation to contract the services afterwards.
What does Start Digital 360° include?
The package provides a pathway of up to 12 months built around the actual needs of each beneficiary. In total, the beneficiary has access to 164 hours of services, from assessing the current situation to identifying solutions and funding opportunities.
Services include:
- digital Maturity Assessment (DMA);
- identifying needs and establishing a digitalisation pathway;
- developing basic digital skills;
- preparing for responsible use of artificial intelligence;
- mentoring for business development;
- connecting with solutions, experts and partners;
- advice on accessing funding.
Thus, the organisation receives not only a report about its level of digitalisation, but a transformation pathway that links diagnosis to skills development, identification of solutions, and preparation for investment and funding.
Does it cost?
The total value of the package is EUR 8.357. By co-financing the European Union, the beneficiary pays only 50 % – EUR 4 178,5. The financial contribution is required only after the organisation has been selected and the contract signed to access the services.
At national level, the mechanisms by which the co-financing share of beneficiaries could be supported by public instruments are further explored. At the time of this call, however, there is not yet an operational government co-financing instrument. Therefore, for the first call, the selected beneficiaries must count their own contribution of EUR 4 178,5.
For interested organisations, this is also a first step towards advanced EDIH services, including pre-investment testing of digital solutions, technical expertise, advanced specialisation and project development support to obtain funding.
Who can apply?
The call shall be open to small and medium-sized enterprises and public institutions of the Republic of Moldova wishing to develop their digital capacities and improve their processes through the use of digital technologies. Eligibility is checked after registration according to the call criteria.
Once the form is completed, the EDIH of Moldova team analyses the information, contacts the organisation to clarify needs and verify eligibility, and the selected organisations then proceed to the contracting phase. Signing up to the One-Stop Shop does not automatically mean contracting the package.
Why should I join?
Because digitisation does not start with the choice of software, but with the understanding of the problems that technology can solve. Start Digital 360° gives organisations access to expertise, skills, solutions and funding orientation in one go.
And for the first call, the number of places is limited to 40 beneficiaries.
Registration in the One-Stop Shop is free of charge. Take the first step and find out what can be digitalised, what solutions suit you and how to prepare your organisation for the next stage of development.
