Local entrepreneurs can sell their products and services on a new online marketplace — “SME Rocket”. The platform was opened at the initiative of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure by the Organisation for the Development of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Sector.

The SME Rocket is a group created on Facebook to support businesses in selling products and services under the current restrictive conditions for movement and entrepreneurial activity.

“With this virtual marketplace, we aimed to provide a solution for producers and consumers, who have to stay at home during the Emergency. Online trade is not only an immediate but also a long-term solution, as it is a tool for entrepreneurs to reduce their logistical costs and reach a much larger audience”supports Minister Sergiu Răilean.

All interested parties wishing to sell or buy products or services delivered by domestic entrepreneurs can join the SME Running Group. Companies interested in joining the SME Running Group must fill in an express profile containing: a short description of the business, the price of the goods or services, the possibility of delivery or placing the order online, contact details, a link to the entrepreneur’s official page and a relevant photograph.

In just a few days after the opening, more than 2000 entrepreneurs from all over the country registered in the SME Running Group.
