ODIMM announces the selection of specialised mentors in the award of consultancy services to entrepreneurs in difficulty
Organisation for the Development of the Sector of Small and Medium Enterprises (ODIMM), within the project DanubeChance2.0plan the creation of a network of mentors to support entrepreneurs in difficulty, entrepreneurs who have gone through critical situations or are in the second or third business, in order to prevent and resolve difficulties that may affect the company in the long term.
The early warning mechanism is an effective tool to prevent entrepreneurs of risks that would cause financial instability within the company practised in EU countries, such as Denmark, Germany, Belgium, etc.
Through the project DanubeChance2.0the aim is to draw on the experience of European states and develop a Early warning mechanism in the Republic of Moldova. Early intervention helps the entrepreneur to revitalise their business, re-enter the market, find solutions to the problems they face in order to result in a stable economic situation and sustainable growth.
The main elements of the Early Warning Mechanism are:
● Diagnosis of the business;
● Plan to overcome the problems identified;
● Network of mentors (entrepreneurs, specialists/experts from different business areas) providing specialised and mentoring consulting services for companies in difficulty (financial, operational, etc.).
In the context of the implementation of the Early Warning Mechanism in the Republic of Moldova, the IMMO launches the selection competition of members ‘Network of mentors specialising in the provision of consultancy services to entrepreneurs in difficulty’ in which they are invited to participate:
a) management and business consultants and/or self-employed with expertise in:
— Marketing and sales,
— strategic management,
— business planning,
— organisational and business process management,
— human resources,
— quality management,
— finance and investment,
— crisis management, including business restructuring;
b) consultants from other related sectors and/or professionals (i.e. legal, IT, accounting, etc.)
C) self-employed professionals and/or consultants with technical and operational expertise (i.e. agriculture, manufacturing, accommodation and food service activities, etc.).
d) owners and/or top managers of successful companies.
Minimum requirements vis-à-vis candidates:
● higher education in the field of expertise;
● experience in business advice for at least 3 years and is impartial and independent in the conduct of their professional activity;
● or at least 5 years’ experience in managing a business or activity in management positions in the key areas concerned;
● experience in diagnosing and developing a business;
● minimum 2 business development projects implemented;
● experience with coaching or business mentoring projects (consisting an advantage);
● verbal and written communication skills,
● analytical capabilities and high level of professionalism.
Selected experts (minimum 15) will be included in the network of mentors for implementation National “Doua chance” programme. They will be prepared for the testing of the Early Warning Mechanism in the Republic of Moldova, and will take several steps:
✔ selection on the basis of the CV, the report on the provision of consultancy services and the recommendation letter;
✔ Ithe implementation of a pilot mentoring project for a business;
✔ inclusion in the national mentor network of National “Doua chance” programme.
Candidates interested in the collaboration are to submit submit to the email address:

2) a report on the consultancy services provided;
3) a letter of recommendation, indicating the scope of expertise.

Collaboration with selected candidates will be based on a contract for the provision of services and the payment will be made on the basis of the consultancy report and the number of consultancy days according to the budget of the project.
