Help promote innovative ideas
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) launched the project “Development of innovative business for sustainable growth at local level” to be implemented in 2015-2017.
The key objective of this project is to contribute to the implementation of the National Innovation for Competitiveness Strategy. In line with the Strategy, innovations are technological products, processes, marketing tools or new or significantly improved business processes used by firms to increase sales. Innovations may be new for a particular company or market, but may not necessarily be new on a global scale.
The project aims to boost innovative processes in Moldovan companies by providing access to specialised knowledge for innovation promotion, stimulating cooperation between companies and local public authorities and providing grants for the generation and absorption of innovative ideas by the project’s beneficiary companies. In order to adapt the project to companies’ needs and plan its resources optimally, UNDP initiated a survey among Moldovan companies that have innovative potential.
